Test Name: CLL Prognostic Sequencing Panel
Methodology: Molecular Genetics
The CLL Prognostic Sequencing Panel uses NGS technology to provide an assessment of 4 genes (MYD88, SF3B1, TP53, NOTCH1) in one assay. The panel targets mutations with known involvement in the prognosis of patients diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
•Peripheral blood: 4 mL in EDTA tube.
•Bone marrow: 2 mL in EDTA tube.
Storage and Transport
Use cold pack for transport, making sure cold pack is not in direct contact with specimen. Ship same day as drawn whenever possible; specimens <72 hours old preferred.
Specimen Rejection Criteria
Turn Around Time (TAT): 7-10 Days
